Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan seen holding hands while delivering food in Los Angeles

We've all been so happy to hear about the incredible work Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan have been doing to give back during the coronavirus pandemic in their new home of Los Angeles. And fans had a bigger reason to smile on the weekend when the pair were photographed holding hands while delivering food.

The couple were seen donning casual wear and baseball caps as they dropped food off for Project Angel Food. Meghan wore a face mask, while Harry was wrapped in a blue bandana.

The Sussexes have done work with the organization before. They also dropped food off on Easter Sunday and on April 15. A new report says it was partly prompted by Doria Ragland, Meghan's mother, who suggested they get involved.

"I went on one delivery with Harry and Meghan and they were all about the client, all about service," Richard Ayoub, Project Angel Food's executive director, told Entertainment Tonight. "Yesterday, we got a call from one of the clients saying, 'Was that who I thought it was?' because they're wearing their masks, they're wearing gloves, they're very casually dressed."

Harry and Meghan reportedly made their delivery very quietly and then left.

Project Angel Food delivers 2,000 meals a day to Los Angelenos who have serious illnesses, and the service is critically important during the COVID-19 pandemic.

"The volunteers who show up EVERY DAY and package food and the drivers who deliver them and the staff that keeps the whole thing running are all HEROES," actress Jamie Lee Curtis, who is friends with Richard, wrote on Instagram of the couple's volunteer work.

"I include the Duke and Duchess. While they delivered food, they shone their light on truly important and noble mission and helped immeasurably. I welcome them to my hometown and the Project Angel Food family."

The Sussexes reportedly moved to Los Angeles last month, just after stepping down from their senior royal roles. Prior to that, they had mostly been living in a home on Vancouver Island.

Over the weekend, the couple were also photographed walking their dogs in Los Angeles. They look like they're settling in very nicely!

Last week, Harry and Meghan also donated "excess profits" from their wedding broadcast to coronavirus relief. A total of £90,000 (about $158,000) will go to Feeding Britain.
