We've loved seeing how royals around the world have been pitching in to help and support people during the coronavirus pandemic, and we've really enjoyed seeing all the hands-on work the Countess of Wessex has been doing. She continued that on April 15 when she helped make spaghetti bolognese for health care workers.
Sophie, who wore a mask and gloves, joined hospitality company rhubarb, which manages private, charity and corporate events, to pitch in at the company's headquarters. The organization is delivering meals every week to London hospitals.
"We were delighted to welcome her... to our humble kitchens, where she joined our team and worked diligently with our chef brigade to prepare food for our heroic NHS Hospital Teams," rhubarb Ltd.'s CEO PB Jacobse said in a statement.
This wasn't the only time this month that Sophie has helped out in person during with a coronavirus-related cause. Last week, she went to Hope Hub, an organization that works to end homelessness in the Surrey Health borough of England's Surrey county.

Again wearing a mask and gloves, Sophie helped deliver food parcels for homeless and under-housed people who use the facilities. As she did at rhubarb's headquarters this week, she also maintained appropriate social distance of 2 metres from other people at all times.
As of this writing, the Johns Hopkins University of Medicine says there have been more than 2.1 million cases of COVID-19 in 185 countries and regions. The United Kingdom has had more than 104,000 of those cases. The illness has been responsible for nearly 141,000 deaths worldwide, while nearly 533,000 people have recovered from the virus.
