Here's what Prince George and Princess Charlotte did on their half-term break

Last week, Prince George and Princess Charlotte enjoyed the February half-term holiday break from Thomas's Battersea school in London. And it sounds like they got up to all sorts of fun with parents Duchess Kate and Prince William and younger brother Prince Louis.

After a number of busy royal engagements, which took Kate to Scotland and Northern Ireland, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge cleared their schedule so they could enjoy family time with the children at their Norfolk home, Anmer Hall. Traditionally, the Cambridges spend holidays at the country home, which is conveniently located near Sandringham, the Queen's private estate.

After watching the Wales vs France Six Nations rugby match at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on Feb. 22, the duke revealed the family fun over the holidays included lambing, which is when ewes give birth.

"We've been lambing with the children this week," he stated, according to HELLO! UK.

"Charlotte wasn't sure at first, but George was straight in there.

"Louis loves the tractors. They love seeing the lambs and feeding the lambs."

It sounds like a memorable family excursion for the young family, and is right in line with some of Kate's recent engagements. The duchess helped feed a lamb when she visited The Ark Open Farm in Northern Ireland on Feb. 12 while promoting her "5 questions on the under 5's" survey.

Hopefully, the British royals were able to have a relaxing time because the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have a full schedule. We will next see them out on Feb. 25, when they will attend a performance of Dear Evan Hansen at the Noël Coward Theatre in London. The performance is in aid of The Royal Foundation and the couple will meet with cast members after the show.

Following the theatre royal engagement, William and Kate will be embarking on their first official royal tour of Ireland on March 3 to March 5. New details of the trip reveal the couple will "take in Ireland's rich culture" while visiting Dublin, Galway, County Meath and County Kildare. The trip will focus on deepening relationships between the UK and Ireland, and will no doubt be filled with many exciting moments!
