Duchess Kate and Prince William delighted royals fans when they travelled to south Wales for a series of royal engagements on Feb. 4. The Duchess of Cambridge already looked ready for Valentine's Day, thanks to her red dress with heart-printed scarf!
The mom of three bundled up in a long tailored navy coat by Hobbs as she and Prince William visited the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) Mumbles Lifeboat station in Swansea. She brightened up her look with a vivid red Zara dress, which could be seen through the opening of her coat as she walked.
In a very sweet gesture to Wales, the couple also came dressed in red and green, two of the colours of the Welsh flag, also known as the "Baner Cymru" or "Y Ddraig Goch." The latter means "red dragon"!
Kate added even more colour and a dash of romance with a pink and red heart-print scarf. She rounded out the ensemble with a red Mulberry clutch and tall black boots from Stuart Weitzman. We bet royals fans will heart the outfit. (Sorry and not sorry.)
The Duchess of Cambridge's hair was pulled back into an elegant half updo, with her long brunette locks styled in voluminous lengths around her shoulders. The coiffure showcased her oak leaf golden hoops, which are by Asprey London.
Zara has become a go-to brand for Kate in her last few appearances. When she embarked on
her 24-hour tour of the UK to launch her "5 big questions on the under 5s" survey on Jan. 22, she sported an affordable and chic leopard print skirt from the retailer, along with a camel coat by
Massimo Dutti, black turtleneck
and tall black boots.
HELLO! Canada readers loved the look, voting it one of their favourites the duchess wore in January, so hopefully this latest ensemble will be as well received.
The Cambridges have had a busy couple of days. They had a glamorous date night at the 2020 BAFTAs on Feb. 2 in London. While there, Kate embraced the suggested theme of dressing sustainably by rewearing an opulent gold and white custom Alexander McQueen gown we last saw her wear in Malaysia in 2012!
She paired the dress with a sparkly gold clutch, Jimmy Choo heels and a necklace and earrings set by Van Cleef & Arpels. The duchess wore her hair in a sophisticated updo.
