The glamorous event follows the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's first engagement of 2020 in Bradford last week. At this most recent engagement, Kate positively wowed in a glittering red dress by Needle & Thread.
The sparkling gown features long sleeves and an elegant mid-calf hemline. The dress was fitted at the waist to showcase the duchess's lithe frame. Of course, the most arresting detail of the look was all the exquisite red embellishment! The layers of red translucent fabric with glittering detail work were a sight to behold. The ornate detailing is also a signature of the brand.
The Duchess of Cambridge brought even more colour to her ensemble with coordinating heels, bag and earrings. Kate isn't one to shy away from colour, and she carried off the head-to-toe garnet ensemble wonderfully.
Her beauty look was equally charming. The duchess's brunette locks were parted down the middle and her long lengths were styled in thick waves. Natural, fresh makeup completed the dazzling look.
Red seemed to be the colour of the evening because Sophie, the Countess of Wessex also sported a red dress! She looked supremely chic in a fit-and-flare frock with large scalloping on the sleeve and skirt hems. Sophie attended the event alongside husband Prince Edward.
The last time we saw Kate, she looked super stylish during her walkabout of Bradford in a hunter green Alexander McQueen coat with Zara plaid dress underneath. She accessorized with a black Aspinal of London top handle bag, black Gianvito Rossi pumps and green drop Zeen earrings, which she previously wore on her and William's royal tour of Pakistan last year.
