Duchess Meghan brings back a dress she wore in Tonga last year for engagement in Cape Town

One of the Duchess of Sussex’s favourite tour dresses made a royal reappearance in South Africa on Sept. 23, a year after she wore the perfectly-fitted ensemble in Tonga while she was pregnant with Archie Harrison.

The 38-year-old donned the bright sky blue Veronica Beard dress for her second stop of the day at the District 6 Museum alongside Prince Harry. Located in the inner-city residential area of Cape Town, the museum highlights the forced relocation of 60,000 inhabitants of various ethnicities during Apartheid in the 1960s.

Meghan paired the tailored calf-length dress featuring pockets and on-trend side slits, with her favoured black Castañer Carina Espadrilles. The dress is no longer available online, but the shoes retail for US$120 on Net-a-Porter.

Earlier in the day, the former actress wore the same shoes and a now-sold-out printed dress by Mayamiko Dalitso to an event with The Justice Desk. There, she and Harry danced with children supported by the organization’s empowerment and self-defence initiatives. Archie’s mom accessorized the look with minimal jewelry and a chic high ponytail.

We expect there will be a ton of great style watching to be had over the course of the royal tour, which wraps up on Oct. 2 in Johannesburg.

Harry, Meghan and Archie landed in Cape Town earlier Sept. 23, and officially began their tour the same day. They will spend three days there before Harry heads to Botswana, Angola and Malawi separately.

The family of three will be reunited in Johannesburg, where the tour will wrap Oct. 2. The new parents reportedly want to include Archie in one of their engagements, but aren’t sure how yet.
