Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan enjoy Sunday roast dinner at their local pub

The royals are just like us – they, too, enjoy dinner and a few pints at their favourite spots! Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan were seen doing just that on Aug. 25, and they had Archie Harrison in tow!

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex reportedly enjoyed a $24 Sunday roast at The Rose & Crown in Winkfield, Berkshire, which is pretty close to their home of Windsor. They spent two hours at the pub, and while there Harry also reportedly enjoyed two pints, according to The Sun.

Little Archie was said to have been a complete angel throughout the meal, and mostly spent the time sleeping in a cot next to them and cradled in Meghan’s arms. The new mom opted not to have alcohol with her meal and stuck to water, the publication reports.

The food certainly looks delicious there, judging by their website!

In addition to Sunday roast, the pub offers a mouth-watering assortment of main courses, including char-grilled salmon with dill new potatoes, samphire, lemon and chive butter; devilled cod and squid pie with a fennel, mixed leaf and Parmesan salad; char grilled dry aged beef steak with fries, salad and Paris butter; chicken, spinach and mushroom Wellington with mashed potatoes, cider-glazed vegetables and herb au jus; spring vegetable pearl barley risotto with citrus butter; pork sirloin steak with an apple thyme salad, chips and pepper corn sauce; and mixed game of pigeon truffle pithier, rabbit and pancetta-wrapped venison loin with parsley potatoes, tender stem broccoli and sour cherry au jus. Yum! We’ll have one of each, please!

“They were on a table with, I presume, a private secretary,” a couple that spotted the new parents told The Sun. “Meghan was cradling Archie most of the time. The little lad was a good as gold. I didn’t hear him cry once while he was there.

“No other customers recognized them. The staff clearly knew who they were, but kept the service low-key. They did indicate to me they had been there before. They just chatted away like any normal couple and were laughing a lot.”

Harry and Meghan have been unwinding at home after returning from summer vacations in Ibiza and the French Riviera, where they stayed at Elton John and David Furnish’s villa. The couple are expected to head to Balmoral to see the Queen and spend time with her over the next few days.

In October, the couple are set to head to South Africa with little Archie for a tour of the country. Harry is also expected to make solo visits to Botswana, Angola and Malawi.
