Duchess Meghan, Prince Harry and Archie Harrison return to the UK after holiday in France

After reportedly spending the last week in Ibiza and then jetting off to Nice, France, Prince Harry, Duchess Meghan and Archie Harrison have arrived back in the UK.

On the weekend, it was reported the family of three were spending time at Sir Elton John and David Furnish’s home of Castel Mont-Alban on the French Riviera after arriving in Nice on Aug. 14. The Sun published photos of Meghan stepping off a private plane in a white blouse and sun hat while holding Archie, with Harry in a green polo shirt, blue hat and sunglasses.

Harry has been friends with Elton since before his mother, the late Princess Diana, passed away in 1997. Elton and David both attended Meghan and Harry’s 2018 wedding, and Elton reportedly performed at a reception that was hosted by the Queen after their nuptials.

Early last week, it was also reported the Sussexes flew off to the Spanish island of Ibiza to celebrate Meghan’s 38 th birthday, just a few days after it took place on Aug. 4.

The family are said to have “stayed at a villa well away from the cameras” and “travelled with security personnel,” according to The Sun . They also reportedly hired five “local escorts who know the… area,” Vanity Fair says. The trip is said to have taken place after a quiet celebration at Frogmore Cottage, Meghan and Harry’s home in Windsor.

Meghan loves Ibiza and has travelled there before. The former actress visited the island in 2016 with friends including fashion designer Misha Nonoo, just before she met Harry. The prince has been to one of the Balearic islands, too. Harry travelled to Mallorca in 1986 with Diana and brother Prince William. The three stayed as guests of the Spanish royal family at the time.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are due to head to South Africa with Archie in October, and Harry is scheduled to make separate journeys to Botswana, Angola and Malawi. But before that, the family of three are scheduled to head up to Scotland to visit the Queen, who is still holidaying at Balmoral.
