The Duchess of Cornwall’s son sings Duchess Meghan’s praises

The Duchess of Sussex can add one more person to her long list of supporters! While appearing on Good Morning Britain on Tuesday (Dec. 18), the Duchess of Cornwall’s son sung his praises for Meghan after host Piers Morgan prompted him for any advice he’d give to the mom-to-be.

But food critic Tom Parker Bowles admits he has no words of wisdom for Duchess Meghan, who married into British royalty when she said “I do” to Prince Harry on May 19. “I think she’s wonderful,” he gushed. “How could I give advice about that? I think she should carry on what she’s doing.”

Though Camilla’s son, 44, says he’s on the outskirts of the Royal Family, he’s made a big career all on his own as a culinary expert. “We are the common children. We are on the side,” he said of himself and sister Laura Lopes, who Camilla shares with first husband Andrew Parker Bowles. Royal or not, Tom has many successes to his name – like five cookbooks and his latest project, Christmas & Other Winter Feasts , detailing his love for seasonal foods, classic Christmas dishes and stories from the archives of Fortnum & Mason, a department store company founded in 1707.

At this year’s Trooping the Colour, the spotlight was most definitely on Prince Harry and Meghan, as they’d just exchanged vows the month prior. But eagle eyed royal watchers may have noticed Tom and his family, including his sister and Sara, the mother of his children, watching the exciting spectacle. Though the couple had reportedly split up six months prior, according to the Daily Mail , they put on a united front for their kids to enjoy the fun day!

Duchess Meghan, meanwhile, is gearing up to welcome her first child in the spring … And she hasn’t been slowing down during the baby wait! On Dec. 18, the Suits alum showed off her big heart and fashion savvy with a visit to a Royal Variety charity care home in London. Spending time chatting with veterans of the entertainment industry, there are whispers that this could be one of the patronages handed down to her by the Queen.
