While JoJo Fletcher continues her search for love on the current season of the U.S. edition of The Bachelorette, Canada's Jasmine Lorimer is preparing to start her own journey towards happily ever after as the first ever Canadian bachelorette. After two seasons of The Bachelor Canada, the Great White North is switching up the dating game to give 20 eligible men a chance to win the heart of the stunning 27-year-old.
"It is such an honour to be Canada’s first bachelorette,” said Jasmine, adding, “This opportunity came at the perfect time for me and I couldn’t be more prepared to embark upon this lifelong adventure.”
The inaugural season of W Network's The Bachelorette Canada kicks off in the fall and will be hosted by TV personality Noah Cappe (Carnival Eats).

SHE'S A SMALL TOWN GIRL
Jasmine was born and raised in Kenora, Ontario (population 16,000), but now resides in Pemberton, British Columba.
Today was probably my favourite day up on the mountain so far. @wcrosby and @taysharpe showed me all the secret spots with the best snow, and although I busted my kneecap on a tree, I came out feeling like a better skier . Had to keep up to the boys. By the way, I am going approximately 80 km/h in this photo, you just can't tell.
SHE HAS AN ADVENTUROUS SPIRIT
It's easy to see based on her Instagram account that Jasmine loves the outdoors and is very active. This will come in handy when she takes some of her suitors on wild and daring dates across the nation.
SHE'S A BEAUTY PROFESSIONAL
The Ontario native moved to the West Coast to pursue a career in hairdressing.
SHE IS OPEN-MINDED AND DOWN-TO-EARTH
Described as "refreshingly open, honest and not afraid to laugh at herself," Jasmine isn't afraid to open herself up to heartbreak if it means she could find true love.
SHE'S A MODEL
In addition to her career in hairstyling, the single star has dabbled in modelling. She also starred in a music video for Canadian country duo King and Cash.
