Cindy Crawford is bringing the '80s modelling world to TV

Cindy Crawford: primetime producer? The supermodel has reportedly signed on to create some must-see television for NBC. According to Variety, the show will focus on the model wars of the 1980s, the when the 49-year-old rose to fame and the supermodel was born.

Tentatively titled Icon, the series will be a fictional account of the real-life battles waged between the Ford Modelling Agency and Elite Model Management. The two regularly competed to sign top talent, like Cindy’s fellow supermodels Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, Christie Brinkley, Brooke Shields, Elle Macpherson and Christy Turlington.
