Talk of TIFF: #Mag7, Armie Hammer's big reveal, Kiefer Sutherland's sweltering subway ride and more

TIFF 2016 is officially underway, and celebrities are not only walking the red carpets for their gala films but also taking in Toronto's nightlife. Here's the second of our daily roundups revealing who we spotted and where (plus, don't forget to check our map to the stars and TIFF style mega-gallery each morning!).

If you saw #Mag7 all over your Twitter feed, you know that Denzel Washington, Ethan Hawke, Chris Pratt and Antoine Fuqua opened the festival with a walk down the Hudson's Bay's red carpet for western The Magnificent Seven. But all eyes were on juror Zhang Ziyi, who floated past the media in a breathtaking Elie Saab gown. Other members of the diverse cast on-hand in Toronto also included Peter Sarsgaard, Haley Bennett, Martin Sensmeier, Byung Hun-Lee and Vincent D'Onofrio.

Oscar Winner Brie Larson also stepped out at Ryerson for the Midnight Madness presentation of Free Fire. And as the Room star posed with eager fans, her floor-length floral gown festooned with shimmering pleats almost stole the show - that is, until co-star Armie Hammer debuted wife Elizabeth Chambers's her baby bump!

Famed DJ Hannah Bronfman was spotted spinning chart-topping beats for a sartorially smart crowd at Maison Moët at La Maquette on King St. E. The dance-party went late into the evening.

Olivia Wilde should be making an appearance at the Ryerson Theatre tonight in support of hubby Jason Sudeikis, whose film Colossal with Anne Hathaway makes its debut. The pregnant mom of one, who apparently had a rough day of parenting recently, is sure to dress her bump in style.

The ET Canada party at The Addisons Residence welcomed a slew of talent, including rapper Kardinal Offishall and Mike Holmes Jr. And though he's not technically here for TIFF, Canadian star Kiefer Sutherland , who's in town filming the TV show Designated Survivor, was spotted on a sweltering streetcar on Thursday.

- Celebrities have taken over the airport for TIFF! etalk spotted Anne Hathaway and Dakota Fanning touched down in Toronto late Thursday and early Friday morning. Plus Amanda Knox, who's in town promoting her eponymous documentary.

- Sandra Oh, Anne Heche and Alicia Silverstone are widely expected to swing by the yet-to-open restaurant STK for a dinner celebrating their film Catfight on Friday night.
