Come Sept. 10, the city of Toronto will be inundated with a who's who of Hollywood's best and brightest stars. Organizers of the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) announced the stellar lineup of talent expected to hit he red carpet during the 10-day festival, and just like years past, the A-list names will blow you away.
Sandra Bullock, Kate Winslet, Julianne Moore and Diane Kruger lead the parade of formidable leading ladies, with Johnny Depp, Eddie Redmayne and Ryan Reynolds holding it down for the gentlemen. It also wouldn't be a festival without a host of stars on the rise, and this year's offering includes Elizabeth Olsen, Alicia Vikander and Kate Mara. They join the ranks of former ones to watch, like Kristen Stewart and Rose Byrne, who will also walk the red carpet in Toronto.
We can't forget the veterans! Helen Mirren, Michael Caine, Donald Sutherland and Christopher Plummer will return to the festivities to showcase their latest work.
The festival's artistic director, Cameron Bailey, also announced the lineup for the hugely popular "In Conversation With..." series, which sees stars open up in a candid interview. Destined for the hot seat this year are: Sarah Silverman, Salma Hayek, Julianne Moore and Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner.
The announcement of talent marks the official countdown to the start of the festival, which kicks off this year with the opening night gala of Jean-Marc Vallée's Demolition, starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Naomi Watts.
