Duchess Meghan re-wears engagement dress, coat by Canadian designer at WellChild Awards

Keen royal watchers may have recognized the dress Duchess Meghan was wearing when she stepped out to the WellChild Awards with Prince Harry on Oct. 15. We last saw the Duchess of Sussex in this look back in 2017, when she and Harry announced their engagement!

This time, Meghan paired the dress by Italian designer P.A.R.O.S.H. with brown suede Manolo Blahnik heels and a Montunas tortoiseshell bag with a scarf handle. She was also wearing a tan coat by Canada’s Sentaler, a label that has fast become a favourite with the royals, with Duchess Kate also being pictured wearing its looks several times since 2011.

The couple are set to meet the winners of this year’s awards before the show. WellChild is one of the Sussexes’ favourite charities, and they encouraged fans to donate to it instead of sending them gifts after Archie Harrison was born in May. It helps seriously ill and disabled children and their caregivers, and Harry has been a patron of the organization since 2007.

This marks Harry and Meghan’s first joint engagement since the couple returned earlier in October from their 10-day tour of southern Africa. Meghan re-wore many of her favourite items from her wardrobe during her time in South Africa, including two dresses we also saw her in during the couple’s first ever overseas tour in Australia, New Zealand, Tonga and Fiji in 2018!
