The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have teamed up for a glitzy evening at the 2019 BAFTAs in London! On Feb. 10, the couple dusted off their finest clothes and left Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis at home for the A-list affair. Duchess Kate added to her roster of gorgeous evening gowns, turning heads in a stunning white dress by Alexander McQueen.
Kate was an absolute vision as she hit the red carpet with her handsome husband (who's president of the BAFTAs) by her side. The royal chose a beautiful white number, which boasted a one-shoulder neckline and flattering empire waistline. Adorned with floral appliqué on her left shoulder, the duchess paired the look with a chic up do and a small white clutch for the occasion. As for her shimmering jewels, the 37-year-old chose a pair of dangling diamond and pearl earrings (which used to belong to Princess Diana) and a diamond bracelet. Her natural beauty was amped up with a classic smoky eye.
The parents of three have become a BAFTAs red-carpet staple over the years. Just last year, Kate and Prince William made a glamorous appearance at the starry event, with the duchess dressing her baby bump (a future Prince Louis!) in an emerald green Jenny Packham gown. The black belt was believed to be a subtle nod to the Times Up movement, which encouraged attendees to wear all black in support of the cause. The year prior to that, Kate turned heads in a jaw-dropping off-the-shoulder Alexander McQueen gown in a pretty floral pattern.
