Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie set to make their British Vogue debut

Even in this digital age, it’s a great pleasure to flip through the pages of a brand new glossy magazine – especially when, on the rare occasion, they feature our favourite royal women. Following in the Duchess of Cambridge’s footsteps, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are set to make their British Vogue debut next month in the coveted September issue, which boasts Rihannaas its cover star.

It’s not surprising that these royal sisters were chosen to grace the magazine’s pages. The two have kicked their fashion credentials into high gear this year, from Princess Beatrice’s jaw-dropping Grecian-inspired look at the Met Gala to her sister’s unique Jackie O-worthy dress at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding. “Essentially, we are taking you on a journey – from our offices in central London, where I invited Bajan superstar Rihanna earlier this summer to talk diva-dom and diversity, to Royal Lodge in Windsor, where Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie welcomed Vogue into the heart of the Royal Family,” the glossy’s editor, Edward Enninful , wrote in the issue’s introduction.

While no details have been revealed as to how Beatrice, 29, and Eugenie, 28, will appear in the issue, whether it be a photoshoot or interview, it will certainly allow royal fans a rare glimpse into the princesses’ lives beyond the Windsor gates and inside their father’s home, Royal Lodge. The house is particularly meaningful to the bride-to-be as it’s reported to be the setting for the evening reception following Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s wedding on Oct. 12.

While this isn’t Beatrice and Eugenie’s first foray onto the pages of a magazine, it’s certainly one of their biggest! Both have appeared on the cover of Tatler magazine, and the younger of the two stunned in a photoshoot for Harper’s Bazaar two years ago. The September issue is widely seen as Vogue’s most important release of the year, so it’s bound to gift fans with some of the most glamorous shots of the British royals yet.

The gorgeous sisters are following in the footsteps of other members of their family, from Duchess Kate, who was the face of an issue in 2016, to Princess Diana, who graced the cover back in 1991. Kate absolutely glowed on her cover for the magazine’s centenary celebrations, donning a green fedora, a brown suede jacket and a crisp white button-up. At the time, a spokesperson for Kate expressed how much she enjoyed the shoot, saying: "The Duchess had never taken part in a photography shoot like this before. She hopes that people appreciate the portraits with the sense of relaxed fun with which they were taken."
