The Canadian-born British designer has fast become a favourite of the Duchess of Cambridge, who recently looked to the designer’s dresses for the royal tour of Sweden and Norway. On her last night in Stockholm, Kate stunned in a floral Erdem dress. The designer’s fall collection should offer no shortage of inspiration with several of his signature floral dresses for Kate to choose from like this dark floral number with sheer sleeves.
Whether it’s for daytime dressing or an evening red carpet event, Temperley London is Kate’s go-to designer (even sister Pippa is a fan!). This full-sleeved midi dress shows off a playful print that isn’t too loud or flashy and is flourished with sweet details like a pussybow, which is sure to win Kate over.
The Duchess of Cambridge loves a good polka dot as witnessed by the various ensembles she’s worn over the years with the cheery pattern. There’s no doubt that she’d love this green polka dot blouse from luxe Spanish label, Delpozo, which made its London debut this week. Similar to how it was styled at the fall show, we can picture it layered under an A-line shift dress.
We know that Kate gravitates towards pastels and this dress by Emilia Wickstead would be no exception. The pretty pink dress with its delicate billowy sleeves would be the perfect outfit to wear for a certain royal wedding in May. It even reminds us of the dress Kate wore to sister Pippa Middleton’s wedding last spring.
Whatever formal event is on the agenda, Kate would look absolutely radiant in red and black Roland Mouret dress with its high ruffled neck collar and flowing skirt. The Duchess of Cambridge is already acquainted with the designer, having previously wore a royal blue dress for a dinner at Kensington Palace two years ago.
Emilio de la Morena
The Spanish-born designer who already counts stars like Gwyneth Paltrow and Olivia Palermo as fans may not be on Kate’s radar yet but his fall collection might convince her otherwise. Kate has always loved a good skirt suit and this creamy tweed number reminds us of the powder blue Catherine Walker skirt suit she’s worn in the past, boasting a peplum jacket that the Duchess is known to love.
