Meghan Markle wears Canadian designer LINE to engagement photo call

Meghan Markle's style roots still run deep in Canada. The actress, who recently moved out of her Toronto home and into Kensington Palace with Prince Harry, wore a winter white coat from Canadian knitwear brand LINE. She previously wore the brand to the closing ceremonies at the Invictus Games in September. She paired the coat with a p.a.r.o.s.h dress and earrings from Birks.

"We are incredibly honoured that Meghan chose to wear a LINE coat to mark this very special occasion. Meghan has an effortlessly chic sense of style, which we’ve always admired," said LINE's president and co-founder John Muscat. We know this particular coat is one of her favourite pieces so we have officially decided to name it the ‘Meghan.’ We are elated for Meghan and wish her a lifetime of happiness with Prince Harry."

The beautiful wool coat retails for $799 and is already sold out.

The actress was all smiles as she walked hand-in-hand with Prince Harry to meet the media posted in the Sunken Garden at Kensington Palace.

The wedding will take place in Spring 2018. Further details about the wedding day will be announced in due course. His Royal Highness and Ms. Markle became engaged in London earlier this month. Prince Harry has informed Her Majesty the Queen and other close members of his family. Prince Harry has also sought and received the blessing of Ms. Markle’s parents. The couple will live in Nottingham Cottage at Kensington Palace."
