Lily Aldridge, Sara Sampaio and more talk stars in the front row at the Victoria's Secret show

Think pink! The Victoria’s Secret Angels have landed in Paris, and they’re taking over one of the city’s many stunning historic sites. Hello! joined models like Lily Aldridge, Alessandra Ambrosio and Adriana Lima backstage at the Grand Palais, where they were getting prepped for the all-out spectacle. Amid all of the excitement (think rows upon rows of makeup pros, hair stylists and some of the most beautiful women in the world, packed into one very pink room!), we asked a few of the show’s stars who they’d love to see in the audience for the live event.

“I would be super nervous if I saw Beyoncé,” said Devon Windsor. “I have a Beyonce obsession. If I saw her, I would just be in awe.” Elsa Hosk, who made her Victoria’s Secret runway debut in 2012, embraced the fact that it’s the show’s first time in Paris. “I’m not the kind of person to be starstruck,” she told us. “But I’d love to see some French celebrities.” With the show drawing such a star-studded crowd every year, it was difficult for Stella Maxwell to pick just one who she’d be excited to see. “That list could be endless, I think there are so many amazing people!”

For Lily Aldridge, the most thrilling part about wearing her Angel wings in Paris will be sharing the experience with her family. “I’m very excited to see my brother and nephews, who are going to come watch the show,” she told us after wrapping up her hair and makeup (loose, beach waves continue to reign supreme among the Angels, and this year they’re also rocking matte lips). Similarly, Portuguese beauty Sara Sampaio told us she’s looking forward to spotting her boyfriend in the audience.

Before sitting down for final touches from the pros, Josephine Skriver revealed her mom would be watching for the very first time. “It kind of makes me a little nervous,” said the model, who was officially named an Angel by the brand this year. “But I’m really excited to have her see me.” As for whether she’ll be looking out for any celebrities while on the catwalk, Josephine told us, “That’s always fun!”

She also couldn’t wait to see former Victoria’s Secret Angel Doutzen Kroes inside the Grand Palais. “I’m actually really excited that Doutzen is back to see the show this year. It’s a big honour to have her in the audience. To me, she’s always going to be an Angel.”
