10 LFW looks perfect for the Duchess of Cambridge

If the Duchess of Cambridge is looking to refresh her wardrobe, now is the perfect time, especially after seeing the collections of some of her favourite designers come down the runways during London Fashion Week (LFW). Erdem, Alice Temperley, Burberry, Jonathan Saunders and Issa have had the pleasure of seeing Kate in their designs and with the mother of two having returned to royal duties last week, they are probably hoping that some of their new pieces will be amongst her sartorial selections for future engagements.

Alice Temperley, who Kate has worn on numerous occasions including a visit to the 851 Trust and Ben Ainslie Racing headquarters in Portsmouth, showcased a medley of flirty floral dresses inspired by South America. “The Duchess is an inspiration,” said Alice during an interview with The Telegraph in 2013. “She’s very graceful, gracious and she’s a brilliant ambassador for British fashion. She mixes up designer and high street; the perfect modern-day woman.” Perhaps Kate has her eye on a few of Alice’s embroidered sundresses, perfect for casual engagements or for a night out during her family’s annual vacation to Mustique in February.
