The week's best celebrity style: Lily James, Solange Knowles, Lorde and more

Be it feathered turtlenecks, lace shift dresses or peach toppers, spring style is in full swing and the ’70s are reigning supreme. From Paris Fashion Week to premieres and events, style stars like Jessica Alba, Lady Gaga and girl-of-the-moment Lily James, we’re getting a taste of next season.

Jessica Alba pushed old-school throwback to the max in a monochromatic number by Narciso Rodriguez featuring pastel wide-leg trousers, a mock-neck top and a longline coat. Actress Hailee Steinfeld, meanwhile, adopted the ’70s trend at Christian Dior’s runway show. The teen paired a rich orange frock with a pair of the designer’s knee-high, contrast-stitch boots and retro sunglasses.

Lady Gaga, too, stepped out in the Paris, opting for a dotted silk top and matching flare trousers by designer Martin Grant, complete with a very on-trend chapeau and cat-eyed sunnies.

Also in the City of Light were star favourites Solange Knowles and Michelle Williams. Solange took to the Estee Lauder and Courrèges dinner party in honour of tennis pro Roger Federer in a fun half-feathered top paired brilliantly with silk botanical-print trousers and forest-green Daniele Michetti pumps. Meanwhile, Michelle attended the French premiere of her latest film, Suite Francaise, in a v-neck mini dress by Louis Vuitton and patent-leather ankle boots.

Another winner is none other than Cinderella’s Lily James. The actress – also known as Downton Abbey favourite Lady Rose McClare – stole the show at her film’s New York premiere in a romantic, lace shift dress by Dolce & Gabbana and platform Stuart Weitzman sandals.

Lorde, Allison Williams and Hollywood-newcomer Veronica Roth also hit the mark this week in a stream of looks sure to inspire our spring wardrobes. Don’t forget to let us know how you’re gearing up for the new season on Facebook and Twitter!
