Prince Harry and Meghan Markle inspired this Canadian farm’s royal wedding jams

Thanks to a local Canadian farm, everyone can now have afternoon tea like the royals! In anticipation of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s big day on May 19, Ontario’s Springridge Farm has made the perfect confectionary blend, Royal Wedding Jam, in honour of the soon-to-be royal couple.

For this exclusive preserve, the farm decided to go with a perfect combination to represent the gorgeous couple: berry for Harry and sparkle for Markle (a delicious sparkling wine flavour). Royal watchers and jam lovers alike will be able to get their hands on the condiments on Thursday (Mar. 29) for $6.99 per jar.

Meghan and Harry aren’t the only ones who found love across the pond. Springridge Farm co-founder Laura Hughes travelled the opposite direction of Meghan, falling for someone in the Great White North, “I moved here from England as a child and I found my Canadian prince in Farmer John! We have proudly been making jam for our customers for over half a century and we are thrilled to honour Canada’s ties to the Crown with Royal Wedding Jam,” she told Hello!. “It’s fun to create something that celebrates this special day for Prince Harry.”

This wedding-inspired jam isn’t the only royal jelly in the farm’s collection! They also have Royal Wedding Marmalade, Diamond Jubilee Jam and Royal Baby Jam. They even received a lovely letter from the Queen herself acknowledging their Canada 150 Jam from last year.

Aside from getting this scrumptious collectors item on your kitchen table, it’s always nice to support such a dedicated local company. Springridge provides school tours, birthday parties and seasonable festivals, and they have a strong commitment to supporting Canada’s agricultural heritage. Hopefully, Meghan and Harry will get their hands on a jar of jam!
