Lamar Odom is being treated in hospital after being found unconscious at a legal brothel in Nevada, police have confirmed. Authorities were called to the Love Ranch at around 3.15pm on Tuesday to attend to an unresponsive man needing an ambulance, Sheriff Sharon A Wehrly said.
The former NBA star, 35, was stabilised and then taken to Desert View Hospital in nearby Pahrump. Officials then tried to have him airlifted to Las Vegas, but 6ft 10in Lamar was too tall for the helicopter and had to be taken by ambulance to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, where he remained overnight.

Dennis Hof, who owns the establishment, told People that Lamar had arrived on Saturday, and was found in his room unconscious on Tuesday. He said two women had seen Lamar go to sleep around 6am.
"They came back at around 3.00pm, and he was unconscious, so they immediately called 911," he said.
It is thought that Lamar's ex-wife Khloé Kardashian has been informed of Lamar's condition, which is described as serious, and that she flew to be by his side Tuesday night.

Shortly after the news broke, Khloé's younger sister Kylie Jenner cut short a live stream she was doing, telling fans: "Had to end my live stream. I love you guys."
According to TMZ, which first reported Lamar's hospitalisation, doctors intubated the star, and he is breathing with the assistance of machines and remains in a critical condition.
Lamar has long struggled with alcohol and drug addiction. The 35-year-old was involved in a drink-driving case in 2013, and was suspended from the NBA for violating its anti-drug policy in 2000.
Lamar and Khloé were married in 2009 after a whirlwind romance. The couple separated in December 2013 after he suffered a relapse with his substance abuse problems and was reportedly unfaithful. They were officially divorced in July 2015.
