Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson are out of hospital in Australia and have been moved to a house where they'll remain in quarantine in the country as their coronavirus recoveries continue, multiple reports say.
Both People and ET Canada say the couple remain in self-isolation after being released from Gold Coast University Hospital, though the two haven't posted on their social media accounts about it yet.
Five days ago, Tom and Rita took to Instagram to announce they'd been diagnosed with COVID-19 and were in hospital. They were in the country because Tom was set to begin pre-production on Baz Luhrmann's Elvis Presley biopic.
On March 15, the couple thanked Australians who have been caring for them in hospital, with Tom referring to their "helpers." He posted a photo of toast covered in Vegemite, Australia's much-loved yeast spread, along with a stuffed kangaroo.
"Let's take care of ourselves and each other," Tom wrote, echoing a much loved Mr. Rogers line.
Last week, the couple also made humorous posts about their isolation period in hospital, with Rita asking fans for song suggestions for a playlist that she eventually titled "Quarantunes."
As of this writing, there have been nearly 165,000 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in 146 countries, according to the World Health Organization. The illness has caused nearly 6,500 deaths. According to Health Canada, 324 of those cases have been here.
