Michael Bublé is the perfect person to get anyone into the holiday spirit – and this year, he’s feeling especially thankful. With his big return to music with his latest album love, welcoming healthy baby girl Vida and looking more in love than ever with wife Luisana Lopilato, it’s no wonder family is always on his mind … and he’s open to the idea of adding more kiddies to their brood!
The Canadian crooner sat down with HELLO! Canada recently, where he revealed that - despite just welcoming daughter Vida in June – he’d definitely be happy having more children. Ultimately, though, it isn’t his choice! “That’s my wife’s body and she’s the boss of everything, so she’ll decide that. I really have zero say. I hope to have the opportunity to try.” He added, “Hey, you know what, I feel blessed to have three, and I would never have an issue with having more. But it’s up to my beautiful wife.”
It’s no wonder the “When I Fall In Love” singer is enamoured by the idea, as he and Luisana are basking in the excitement of a new baby. “I think [Vida] was Mommy and Daddy’s early Christmas present, our miracle,” he gushed about the little sister they gave Noah, 5, and Elias, 2. And the Argentinian actress is loving every minute of having a little girl. “She wears pink all the time,” he said with a laugh. “I don’t think I’ve ever seen her ever not wearing pink. And it’s funny, too, because she’s a redhead! She’s got red, red hair and blue eyes.”
Perhaps their little one is the product of listening to early versions of his romantic new music! Of working on his tenth studio album, he had a certain goal in mind. “[Making a record] should be fun … I mean, I get sometimes it’s a struggle and there has to be drama, but there’s enough drama in the world, there’s enough negative stuff,” he explained. “We just wanted to put beauty and baby-making music out there.”
The 43-year-old has had quite the year! Following his son’s battle with liver cancer and Michael’s two-year hiatus, the award-winning singer wasn’t even sure if he’d return to music at all. But just over a week ago, the father-of-three received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, cementing his status as one of the greatest in the industry – and Luisana was right by his side. "My wife ... There's nothing really I can say that can express how I feel about her and what we've been through. She's my hero and my rock," he gushed, wiping away tears. "My children, who have given me a purpose for life, and have made days like this even sweeter because I can truly understand how beautiful the good moments are."
