Cara Delevingne and Ashley Benson looked every inch the couple at their TIFF after-party

“Will they or won’t they?” was the question du jour, surrounding rumoured new “It” couple Cara Delevingne and Ashley Benson, as to whether they’d make their rumoured romance public while at TIFF. I can happily say that not only will they, but they did. In front of my very eyes.

Last night, discreet destination RBC House played host to the premiere party for Her Smell, starring a powerful female cast that includes Cara and Ashley, Elisabeth Moss, Amber Heard, Agyness Deyn, and Gayle Rankin. The Paper Towns actress and the Pretty Little Liars star arrived in the same SUV together, with Ashley cozying up at their shared table while Cara went to the washroom for a quick costume change. The former model’s long-sleeve sequinned dress gave way to a spaghetti-strap LBD and blazer, paired with the same sexy, thigh-high black boots.

Cara and Ashley were openly affectionate all night, catching glances, holding each other’s hand and rubbing one another’s arms. I haven’t seen an A-list couple more genuinely passionate and sweet. Shortly after, Amber made her way over to their table, where the women were seen drinking, chatting and oozing cool-girl vibes. Meanwhile, at a table next to them sat Elisabeth in a form-fitting LBD, dark lips and look-at-me pumps, where she nibbled on fried chicken and a slider. Other cast members worked the room, which had a decidedly alt-rock feel, playing off of the film’s theme. The DJ’s set was steeped in Nirvana while attendees drank beers, wine, bubbly and spirits as if at a hipster watering hole. Ashley and Cara stayed at their fete until the very end and left hand in hand to head to Soho House.

Jonah Hill arrived at Soho House hand in hand with his new girlfriend for a private cocktail party toasting his directorial debut, Mid90s. The slimmed-down star and the equally petite stylist, Gianna Santos , spent the night side by side, catching kisses and openly engaging in subtle PDA. He started the night clutching a diet coke on ice (with a lime) and his team requested “Tons of water (Fiji, if you have), tons of Diet Cokes and tons of food.” The music was all '90s hip hop and rap, and Jonah mingled with pretty much everyone and seemed genuinely excited about catching up with his friends. The party was filled with LA and NYC film types and went on well past 2 am.

Over at Mongrel House, Maria Bello sauntered through the secret garden while Kyle MacLachlan played ping-pong with Mongrel Media’s president (giving off total Sex and the City Trey-on-the-tennis-court vibes!).
