Victoria Beckham shows her funny side in Vogue video

Victoria Beckham delivered fans the most epic #throwback in a hilarious video for British Vogue, proving once again that, though she’s not always quick with a smile, her sense of humour is totally on point! The fashion designer and her four kids grace the cover of next month’s glossy to celebrate ten years of her Victoria Beckham label, but the magazine is also shining a light on the Brit’s fashion savvy by looking back on her most iconic looks – and yes, that includes the famous catsuit that reportedly made her husband, David Beckham , fall in love with her.

At the beginning of the video, the editor-in-chief and fashion director of the magazine, Edward Enninful and Venetia Scott, praise the former pop star for her minimalist and refined sense of style: “I think she’s really refining her vision as a contemporary woman,” Venetia says to the camera. But the real laughs come in when Victoria starts pitching her outfit ideas to Edward, clearly veering completely from the original “pared-down” aesthetic the editor was going for.

The industry mogul knows how to have a laugh at herself and look amazing while doing it. In the clip, the 44-year-old shows off some of her most outlandish outfits from her Spice Girls days as well as the early years of falling in love with her husband. She poses for snaps in the classic Posh Spice little black Gucci dress, her iconic wedding gown by Vivienne Westwood and, of course, that amazing cut-out turquoise-and-green gown by Robert Cavalli .

If that wasn’t side-splitting enough, she also gets feline in her incredible catsuit from the music video for “Say You’ll Be There” – an iconic number that she’s actually wore in more recent years! Victoria dusted off the last outfit she ever wore as a member of the pop group during their last hoorah in Toronto 11 years ago. Of the catsuit, Victoria joked to This Morninglast year: “I don’t think I’ll be slipping into a PVC catsuit anytime soon. Only in the bedroom.”

While getting her hair and makeup done, the mother of four deadpans to the camera: “Today, we’re here at Vogue and we’re shooting a cover story celebrating the rich and inspiring history of one of the most enduring style icons of all time: me, Victoria Beckham.” She then jokingly references a popular Spice Girls song, saying, “This is where two fashion forces join to create something really quite incredible. This really is where two become one.”

The jokes keep ramping up when celebrity makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury gets in on the joke, chatting about the look she’s created for the style icon. Describing it as slightly bronzed and naturally beautiful, Victoria turns around to reveal the least natural looking face full of golden highlight and bronzer!

While her style may have peaked her husband’s interest all those years ago, it’s certainly gained his respect, too! David posted his family’s Vogue cover on Instagram, celebrating Victoria’s journey since starting her eponymous label ten years ago. "Victoria has worked long and hard to build an incredibly successful brand over the last ten years and I am so proud of her. I’m happy to be in a position to support her dreams. It was an honour to have been part of the October @britishvogue cover shoot to celebrate @victoriabeckham and my beautiful family, it's out on Friday. Thank you @edward_enninful."
