Turns out, the figure skating pair as just as charismatic on off the ice as they are on. “They were so great and they were such nice people,” the Mad Men star told the Canadian Press . But this isn’t the first time Jon has been totally smitten by the pair – he’s one of a group of thousands who have been following their career for years. It’s hard to find anyone these days who hasn’t heard of the superstar athletes, but it wasn’t until this year, a month after the duo returned home from their final Olympic go-around, that he got a chance to meet them in person thanks to their dressing rooms being side-by-side during filming of Ellen Degeneres’s talk show. “I knocked and said ‘hi.’ They had the gold medals and it was really cool. I didn’t touch it, I didn’t want to jinx it or something,” he joked.
