Channing Tatum helps James Corden make his Magic Mike dreams comes true

James Corden has his eye on career change. The late night host was determined make the cut for a spot in Magic Mike Live Las Vegas after he was initially dismissed by its creator Channing Tatum. Could a Magic James Live show be on the horizon? Only time will tell.

Luckily for fans, the British star recorded the audition process and shared it during Wednesday’s episode of The Late Late Show with James Corden. The scene begins with James trying to convince a reluctant Channing to agree to teach him a routine from the show. After wearing him down, the handsome actor shows James some moves, which the father of two masterfully recreates, complete with sparkly short-shorts.

James isn’t the only one vying for a gig in Las Vegas! Earlier this month, Ellen DeGeneres travelled to Sin City with Channing to visit the Magic Mike set. While there, she received some steamy on-on-one instruction from the handsome cast. She later popped down the street to pay Jennifer Lopez a visit at her “All I Have” show.

The 59-year-old host decked herself out in Jennifer’s famous green Versace dress and barged into the singer’s dressing room to prepare as J.Lo’s understudy.

“Thank you for letting me, for asking me, to do this. Well, you didn’t ask me, I volunteered, so thank me for volunteering,” Ellen joked in the video. Although the GRAMMY Award Winner tried to convince her that there actually aren’t any understudies for her role, the two proceeded with vocal chord warm ups and stretching. Though Ellen didn’t end up on stage, she did get a special shout out from Jenny from the Block during the show.
