The two actors had a mini-reunion on Tuesday’s (May 30) episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! and were asked by the late-night host if they were willing to revive the show, in the spirit of other reboots like Full House and Gilmore Girls.
Scott admitted that he would love to step back into the shoes of Ben Covington. “I would do it [but] some people are on some high-class shows,” he said jokingly, referring to Keri’s role in The Americans and Scott Foley’s gig on Scandal. “I’ll do it in a heartbeat. I’ll be on Lifetime in no time!” added the actor.
During their Felicity days, Scott and Keri’s on-screen romance spilled off screen and the duo enjoyed a long and happy romance. Looking back now, the Canadian actor admits he wasn’t necessarily the perfect boyfriend. “[I was] a disaster,” admitted the actor, to which Keri agreed stating: “A young 20s boyfriend is called a disaster of a boyfriend.”
Keri is now a mother of two and living with her Americans co-star Matthew Rhys while Scott has dated a series of his leading ladies, including Teresa Palmer and French actress Camille De Pazzis.
Even though their romantic relationship didn’t work out, the pair has remained very close and supportive of each other ever since the show wrapped in 2002. Most recently, the Animal Kingdom actor helped Keri unveil her star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame on Monday (May 30).
