Nicole Kidman’s movies have been watched by millions of people all over the world, but there are two very special people who have yet to watch the star’s extensive collection of work. The Australian actress recently admitted that her daughters Sunday Rose, 8, and Faith, 6, don’t watch her movies.

The Big Little Lies star explained to journalists that she purposely does not let her young children watch her films because she wants to keep her professional life and private life separate.

“Our family is very separate to my creative life…. that is how I am able to be a mother” stated the mother of four, who is happily married to country superstar Keith Urban. She went on to share that she does try to participate in kid-friendly projects. “Occasionally, I’ll do something for them where they can come on set,” noted Nicole, in reference to her 2014 family comedy Paddington.

The Oscar-winning actress has already had a very busy and successful year. She received another Oscar nod for her role in Lion, has garnered Emmy buzz for her role in Big Little Lies and has three films premiering in Cannes – all while raising two young daughters. Luckily for the star, her husband is a very hands-on father and the couple have learned how to balance work and parenthood.

“I’m fortunate in the sense that I’m married to a musician, so our schedules are able to be juggled. We’re able to go and pursue our artistic, creative lives, and then have a very solid home life,” the 49-year-old star said.
