Michael Bublé's three-year-old son Noah diagnosed with cancer

Michael Buble's three-year-old son Noah has been diagnosed with cancer. The Canadian singer confirmed the heartbreaking news earlier today on Facebook.

The couple released the following statement: “We are devastated about the recent cancer diagnosis of our oldest son Noah who is currently undergoing treatment in the US. We have always been very vocal about the importance of family and the love we have for our children.

Luisana and I have put our careers on hold in order to devote all our time and attention to helping Noah get well. At this difficult time, we ask only for your prayers and respect for our privacy. We have a long journey in front of us and hope that with the support of family, friends and fans around the world, we will win this battle, God willing.”

Over the past few weeks, the 41-year-old has been on whirlwind press tour in support of his new album Nobody but Me. Understandably so, the singer will now be taking some time off to be with his family.

Michael's son Noah was born in Vancouver in 2013.

Recently, the singer opened up to Hello! Canada about fatherhood, explaining how his children are the most important thing in his life. "That's what defines me. I'm a dad first and all of this other stuff is really great icing on what is the cake of life."

The couple shared this beautiful family photo following Noah's birth.

Michael and his wife Lusiana Lopilato welcomed Noah on Aug. 27 2013. Following his birth, the happy parents shared a sweet picture of their newborn son on Instagram. Earlier this year they became parents for the second time on the arrival of their son Elias.
