"Honored to share my voice today. Thank you @paulwalkerfdn for recognizing my work with @lonelywhale. #TeamLonelyWhale #DoGood," wrote the Entourage star on Instagram, alongside a picture of himself posing with Meadow and the aquarium's executive director Julie Packard. The actor was thrilled to receive the annual award from the Paul Walker Foundation, which Meadow created in celebration of what would have been her father's 42nd birthday last September.

Meadow is determined to keep her father's memory alive by helping a cause close to his heart. "Reflecting on my father, I found myself reflecting on his passions," she wrote on Instagram, adding "His passion for the ocean, his passion for rescuing animals, his passion for helping people and his passion for spontaneous goodwill. I wanted to start this foundation because I want to share that piece of him with the world. I want to share that part of him with others."

Prior to his tragic death in 2013, Paul told friends that he was happier than ever after his daughter moved from Hawaii to California to live with him. “She’s the best partner I’ve ever had. I’ve never had anything like this in my life.” he said. “I feel so transient; I’ve been on my own since I was 16. There’s a part of me who feels like I’m making up for lost time.
