Celine Dion to live stream her first Vegas show following the death of René Angélil

Five weeks after the tragic passing of her beloved husband Rene Angélil, Celine Dion is set to fulfill his wishes by returning to the stage in Las Vegas. In a poignant gesture to her devoted fans, the Canadian singer will live stream the beginning of her show on CelineDion.com. "Join Céline and her fans in Las Vegas for a trip down memory lane, live at The Colosseum, to celebrate her return and witness Céline’s loving tribute to René," reads a statement on her website. The broadcast will begin at 7:30 PST.

Tuesday's show (Feb. 23) will be the second time the "My Heart Will Go On" performer has appeared in her theatre since saying farewell to love of her life. On Feb. 3, the mother-of-three invited close friends and family to remember René during an emotional Celebration of Life service. Putting on a brave face, the 47-year-old addressed the crowd saying, "This is my home away from home. At the same time I'm supposed to feel extremely comfortable being home and right now I'm not sure how comfortable I feel."

She ended her tearful speech with a moving message to her late partner. "I feel his love in the room. I feel his strength and his warmth being reflected in all of you. René always surrounded me with the best people who believed in us and always worked so hard on our behalf. René, I love you, so much. Merci, good night."

Following her husband and manager's death on Jan. 14, the Quebec native postponed her shows in order to grieve in private with her children -- René-Charles, 15, and five-year-old twins Nelson and Eddie. She has 12 more shows scheduled before a pre-planned hiatus in March. Celine will then take a short break before kicking off her next block of shows on May. 17.
