Hollywood’s fatherhood club is bursting with first-timers and old pros who are always keen to gush about being a dad to their beautiful children. David Beckham, Matthew McConaughey and Brad Pitt are all card-carrying members, as are Orlando Bloom, Kanye West and Channing Tatum. Come June 21, the father posse will take a break from their busy schedules to be fêted by their sons and daughters with hugs, cuddles and kisses.
Father-of-six Brad Pitt told Psychologies magazine that he feels like the, “richest man alive” since starting a family with wife Angelina Jolie. The stars have developed a nomadic upbringing for their children – Maddox, 13, Pax, 11, 10-year-old Zahara, Shiloh, 9, and six-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne – bringing them along to any city in which the actors are working. “They are getting a well rounded sense of life outside of Hollywood as they are travelling the world. They see how different people live and the conditions that people are challenged with,” Brad told Hello! in 2013.
Other celebrity fathers like Channing Tatum and Chris Pratt have their hands full with toddlers. “She just runs everywhere so I’m getting my cardio in,” a delighted Channing told Popsugar about his and wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum’s two-year-old daughter, Everly.
Jurassic World leading man Chris has talked openly about his son Jack’s health problems at birth and how relieved he is that the 2-year-old is now living a happy and healthy life. At a March of Dimes charity rally in December 2014, Chris opened up about fatherhood, saying, "I've done all kinds of cool things as an actor. But none of it means anything compared to being somebody's daddy."
In honour of Father’s Day, Hello! rounds up some of Hollywood hottest (and sweetest!) dads.
