<p><a href=/tags/0/prince-philip><strong>Prince Philip</strong></a> was laid to rest following <a href="https://ca.hellomagazine.com/royalty/02021041559894/prince-philip-funeral-everything-you-need-to-know/"><strong>a ceremonial royal funeral</strong></a> on April 17 at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle.
<p>Many royal funerals, as well as burials, have taken place there. In fact, 10 former sovereigns are buried in St George's Chapel. There are royal burial vaults in the Chapel as well as those beneath the choir.
<p>The Royal Vault won't be his final resting place, however. He and the Queen will be reunited in the King George VI Memorial Chapel inside St George's Chapel when the time comes.
<p>St George's Chapel is the final resting place of <a href=/tags/0/george-vi><strong>George VI</strong></a>, the <a href=/tags/0/queen-mother><strong>Queen Mother</strong></a> and <a href=/tags/0/princess-margaret><strong>Princess Margaret</strong></a>, but other members of the <a href=/tags/0/british-royals><strong>Royal Family</strong></a> are buried elsewhere.
