Duchess Kate looked gorgeous in green as she stepped out to a SportsAid event at the London Stadium in the city's Stratford neighbourhood on Feb. 26. The mom of three showed her sporty side by testing out the running track, and she was dressed appropriately in a casual-chic look featuring Zara culottes.
Before her brief sprint and a quick judo lesson, the Duchess of Cambridge was seen in a navy blue blazer from one of her favourite Canadian brands, Smythe. When she participated in the athletic pursuits, she removed the tailored jacket to reveal a green knitted top with three-quarter sleeves. The style coordinated with her cropped pants.
She rounded out the outfit with vegan Marks & Spencer sneakers, which boasted green and yellow stripes on the sides. The British royal kept on her rings and wore a golden pendant necklace and her go-to Siren Wire Earrings in green onyx by Monica Vinader.
The Duchess of Cambridge's brunette locks were fastened in a low ponytail, which was a practical and sophisticated choice for when she was zipping up the track!
In 2019, Kate's style evolution featured more trousers. We memorably saw her wear light brown Massimo Dutti culottes with a white eyelet M.i.h. Jeans blouse when she stepped out to her Back to Nature Garden at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2019 in May. Her recent SportsAid event is another example of how she carries off more casual looks with as much finesse as she does with her evening wear.
Royals fans also saw the duchess the evening before. She and Prince William attended a special performance of Dear Evan Hansen at the Noël Coward Theatre in London, which was in aid of The Royal Foundation.
We'll see the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge again very soon! They are getting ready for their first official tour of Ireland from March 3 to March 5, which will see them explore various parts of the Emerald Isle as they deepen relationships between the UK and Ireland.
