Duchess Kate stepped out on Jan. 28 to Evelina London Children’s Hospital to join a creative workshop run by the National Portrait Gallery's Hospital Programme. And she looked very chic in a tweed skirt suit by Dolce & Gabbana!
The Duchess of Cambridge defined timeless elegance in the textured coordinates. The black and silvery grey style was worn buttoned up. The flippy above-the-knee skirt juxtaposed the sleek tailoring of the double-breasted jacket.
Given the chilly weather, Kate accessorized with opaque black tights and her beloved black Gianvito Rossi heels. She brought out the lighter tweed threads and buttons of the jacket with her jewellery, including Mappin & Webb drop earrings.
Kate wore her brunette locks in a stylish half updo. The front layers of her hair were swept back into a softly teased style with a tendril left around her face for a softer finish. Her signature rosy makeup with hint of eyeliner completed the sophisticated look.
Royals fans might recall the duchess has previously worn the coordinates. Kate is famous for "recycling" items from her sophisticated wardrobe. The mom of three first wore the Dolce & Gabbana tweed skirt suit back in February while attending a "Mental Health In Education" conference at Mercers’ Hall in London.
True to form, she made the classic bouclé suit look fresh for her recent outing by teaming it with different accessories and a new hairstyle.
It has been a busy week so far for Kate. Prior to attending the creative workshop run by the National Portrait Gallery's Hospital Programme at Evelina London, she and Prince William commemorated the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau on Jan. 27. They attended the Holocaust Memorial Day service in Westminster, where the Duke of Cambridge gave an emotional speech in which he paid tribute to Princess Alice of Battenberg, his great-grandmother.
In honour of the day, Kate also released two portraits she took of Holocaust survivors, Yvonne Bernstein and Steven Frank. Kensington Palace also shared behind-the-scenes photos of Kate with Yvonne and Steven during the photoshoot.
