Duchess Kate dazzles again! She was her usual stylish self at the NATO reception hosted by Her Majesty at Buckingham Palace on Dec. 3. The event marked 70 years of the NATO alliance, which was established in 1949.
The Duchess of Cambridge stunned in a vivid emerald green gown by Emilia Wickstead. The saturated jewel tone enhanced her chestnut locks and complexion and brought a festive touch to the event. It is definitely on par with her best evening gowns.
Duchess Kate accessorized simply, choosing no tiara in favour of a voluminous hairstyle. Her brunette locks were worn in bouncy, undone waves around her shoulders.
The look makes one think of the elegant ensemble she wore at the state banquetfor US President Donald Trumpand US First Lady Melania Trump at the Palace in June. For the previous event, Kate wowed in a textured white gown by Alexander McQueen, the Cambridge Lover’s Knot tiara and the Queen Mother’s diamond and sapphire fringe earrings.
With Prince William currently on a royal tour of the Middle East, Kate made her entrance without him. However, there were a number of royals in attendance, including Prince Charles, Duchess Camilla and Princess Anne. They were joined by world leaders including President Trump, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
The Duchess of Cornwall looked radiant in red while the Queen wore an elegant forest green dress with swirling brocade design.
Melania made a colourful statement in a canary yellow Valentino cape paired with a long-sleeved magenta underlayer with coordinating pumps.
