“We live not too far from one another and we have dinners and stuff and we’re friends with them for all the reasons that you're friends with anybody,” the actor told the Daily Mail. “They’re just really nice, fun, kind people. They’re a very loving couple, and they’re going to be great parents.”
On May 6, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex just welcomed their first baby, Archie Harrison, who’s likely to someday be a great playmate for George and Amal’s two-year-old twins, Alexander and Ella.
The filmmaker and his human rights lawyer wife were famous (and fashionable!) guests as the duke and duchess’s royal wedding in May 2018. The mom-to-two dazzled in a sunshine yellow Stella McCartney dress, paired with a matching topper and a small black clutch. On her arm was her beau, looking handsome as ever in a grey suit – his tie and pocket square featured the same hue as her dress.
Just last summer, Prince Harry and Meghan visited the Hollywood heavyweight couple for a weekend at their Italian home in Lake Como. George reportedly flew them out on a private plane. Their Italian home boasts 25 rooms, a swimming pool, tennis courts, a screening room, gym and even their own personal pizza room, according to Good Morning America. It sits on the shore in the village of Laglio, we can’t really imagine a better way to toast the end of summer.
Royal source Omid Scobie told Good Morning America the prince and industry producer have quite a bit in common, including their hobbies.
“George and Harry have a shared passion for motorcycles and checked out George’s collection and they also played basketball together,” he shared.
Meanwhile, the human rights lawyer and the duchess paired up to soak up some sun with two special little guests.
“Amal and Meghan spent much of their days lounging by the pool together and, of course, playing with the twins,” Omid said.
