Duchess Kate wore a gorgeous royal blue dress by Emilia Wickstead and honoured her late mother-in-law by wearing Princess Diana’s earrings when she and Prince William stepped out to the launch of the National Emergencies Trust (NET) in London on Nov. 7.
The Duchess of Cambridge also wore black heels and carried a matching black clutch. She accessorized with a unique poppy pin in honour of Remembrance Day next week, wore her hair down and blown out in waves, and chose peachy blush, nude lips and brown eyeliner for her beauty look.
While there, the Cambridges met with survivors of the Westminster Bridge terror attack and the Grenfell Tower fire, and William made a speech. The NET is an independent charity that has been set up to provide emergency response to disasters and terror attacks in the UK. Emergency response, of course, is close to the Duke of Cambridge’s heart, since he is a former pilot for the East Anglian Air Ambulance.
This is the first of three engagements for William and Kate this week. We’ll next see the couple on Nov. 9, when they step out to London’s Royal Albert Hall for the Festival of Remembrance with Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry, Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla and the Queen. They’ll also be on hand for Remembrance Sunday services at the cenotaph at Whitehall the next day.
